First time for everything!

So this is new for me! I've been thinking about blogging for a while so I finally set one up! I needed a place where I could write ideas or share funny stories. I recently started sewing and got a sewing machine for Christmas! It is amazing! Of course I didn't start with a simple project I started with a lap quilt! So far I am pretty pleased....for a first quilt! But this project has got me thinking about all sorts of other things I want to try! For instance I've been wanting a new wallet and instead of buying one I decided I could make one! I even came up with a pattern! We'll see how it goes! When I get a chance to work on it!  Might need to buy one for back up! ;)
